Home Away provides one-bedroom and studio (efficiency) apartments in the Beacon Hill and Back Bay areas of downtown Boston for periods of one month or longer. All apartments are fully furnished with the necessary furniture as well as sheets, blankets and towels. The kitchens have stove, refrigerator, microwave and sink together with sufficient cutlery, china and cooking equipment to prepare a meal for four. Sorry pets are not allowed.
The apartments are always thoroughly cleaned before a client
moves in. So everything, from the stove to the window ledges, is
fresh and clean.
We require a security deposit that is returned on the last day.
The rent includes heat, hot and cold water but does not include
the cost of parking, TV, Wi-Fi, telephone or electricity. These
latter are available as is maid service as an extra.
Our apartments are within walking distance of shops and
transportation. Parking is quite difficult around Boston.
Distances are quite small and we recommend using public
transportation if possible. We stand ready to give advice or
assistance regarding Boston and its environs, real estate agents,
professional people, entertainment or other information.
Our prices are relatively high and match the quality of the
product we provide. If you would like to look at our apartments

Home Away begins and ends the rental period on the first and fifteenth of the month. For instance, one may stay from May 15th to July 1st, for a total of one and half month's rent. This person would have received his first bill on the 15th of May for one month' rent plus a security deposit. On June 15th, he would receive another bill for half of one month's rent. We would return his security deposit on July 1st.
